A typical citrus fruit of Calabria, perhaps a descendant of the lemon or bitter orange, it owes its characteristic scent to its peel. The antimicrobial, sebum-regulating and antiseptic properties of Thyme have been known since ancient times and can be found in the book “Herbario novo” presenting Renaissance herbs.
